Eliminate drive line vibrations and increase strength of your NP231 with RT Off-Road’s Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit. Each kit includes a replacement output housing, heavy duty main shaft, rear output yoke designed for a double-cardan drive shaft and all necessary hardware. The installation can be performed with the transfer case in or out of the vehicle with basic hand tools. Engineered to function with the factory speedometer sensor/cable and vacuum shift sensor.
Fits all Jeep NP231 transfer cases; 1-3/8″ 32-spline main shaft and yoke; converts factory rear slip yoke to a CV style output; Speedometer Drive Gear (4338996)
Note: Prior to 1997, the 231 used
“Caged Roller Bearings” on this
output shaft. After 1997 there
were no bearings in this position.
If you have an earlier model,
these bearings must be removed
from the sprocket with a press or
bearing puller.
