With the ARB Air Locker locking differential system, you can control your vehicle's on and off road performance from inside your Jeep with the push of a button. Unlike conventional automatic limited slip and locking differentials, that are always engaged, the air locker does not have any adverse affects on tires, drive line components or handling when "unlocked" for highway operation. This patented locking differential system is easy to use. The ARB system utilizes compressed air to smoothly engage a locking gear within a specially designed differential case. In as little as one-tenth of a second, you will have full power transmitted to all wheels, enabling you to take on tough obstacles with ease.
Each system consists of a pre-assembled differential carrier, air hose, air fittings, solenoid valve, steel housing tube, 2 on/off push buttons, 1 inner bearing, 1 inner bearing cap and all the other small parts. An air compressor (sold separately), is required to operate the ARB differential. Easy to follow instructions and illustrations are included for a smooth and trouble-free installation. Each locker is covered by a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. Details are included with purchase.
