Our SafeTCap ART-136 is a replacement for the OEM rear track bar bracket on the Jeep Wrangler TJ. The bracket is made from 7 gauge HRPO steel, CNC cut, bent and MIG welded in the USA facility. The hardware to remount the track bar is included with the bracket. To install this part you will need to disconnect the track bar and you simply cut off the old mount and weld the new mount in the footprint of the old mount.

Wranglers have weld-nuts inside the frame rails that secure the transfer case skid plate in place.
The skid plate also is the transmission and transfer case mount. Typically the bolts are a problem to remove due to rust on the inside of the frame rail. When this happens, access holes are often cut unto the side to facilitate removal of these bolts. This method gives access to dirt and water, which can collect inside the rails and rust them from the inside out.
