The Front Dana 30 axle kit is for 1987 – 2006 YJ Wranglers and XJ Cherokees that are equipped with the factory disconnects. The Axle are made of 4340 chromoly steel and is dual heat treated for unprecedented strength and durability making the Carbon Off-road Axles over 50% stronger than stock!
The axles are designed with large 5-760X Series Spicer U-Joints. The Spicer U-Joints are engineered with a solid cold-formed body while the bearing cups are heat treated for strength. The u-joint is precision ground and case hardened for durability and the multi-lip seal keeps the grease in and contaminants out. The Spicer U-Joints come fully assembled with standard clips and are ready to install.
The axles include both the passenger and driver side axle shafts and come with a block off plate. The block off plate replaces the vacuum-actuated fork housing allowing you to convert your center axle disconnect (CAD) housing into a one piece axle design.
