The Front Dana 44 axle kit is for Rubicon JL Wranglers and converts your CAD housing to a One Piece solution. The Axle are made of 4340 chromoly steel and is dual heat treated for unprecedented strength and durability making the Carbon Off-road Axles over 50% stronger than stock!
The axles are designed with large 5-7166X Series Spicer U-Joints. The Spicer U-Joints are engineered with a solid cold-formed body while the bearing cups are heat treated for strength. The u-joint is precision ground and case hardened for durability and the multi-lip seal keeps the grease in and contaminants out. The Spicer U-Joints come fully assembled with standard clips and are ready to install.
The axles include both the passenger and driver side axle shafts and come with a block off plate. The block off plate replaces the vacuum-actuated fork housing allowing you to convert your center axle disconnect (CAD) housing into a one piece axle design.
