The Patriot Series Aluminum Rear Bumper is raised with tapered corners adding a great deal of ground clearance for your off-road adventures and is mounted to the frame so there is no extra weight on your tailgate. This bumper will retain your factory receiver hitch and has the towing electronics port provisions as well as retaining your parking sensors. Because of the extra ground clearance you will gain you will not be able to use the factory spare tire carrier. A aftermarket tire carrier relocation bracket will be required.

Ground Clearance: By raising the bumper up and having high tapered sides you will gain more clearance for better angles so you will not get caught up on an obstacle such as rocks or other things on the trail. Any tire over 35" will require a tire carrier relocation bracketFeatures: Made from 1/4" thick plate aluminum this frame mounted bumper will put no stress on your tailgate. This bumper has a cut out so you will be able to retain your factory hitch plus it has the electronics port provision for wiring. The 1" thick double welded recovery tabs will come in handy if you are in a recovery situation.
Installation: This is a simple bolt on bumper that will not require drilling or cutting to your JL.
