Wranglers have an issue with the frame rusting at the rear leaf spring shackle mount area. Moisture and gets trapped around the rubber leaf spring bushings, while sand, salt and mud gets trapped inside the hollow frame rails, usually resulting in total rust-through all the way to the spring mounts. Have you noticed the rust on the top of your frame where the upper shock mounts are? Dirt and debris gets trapped there, rusts out the steel and then allows the shock mount to tear away from the frame. We make an inexpensive Safe-T-Cap kit to fix the problem.
